My 2014 is already off to a running start – some good, some uncomfortable things going on.
Tomorrow I’m driving to Kalispell to help my daughter take her Christmas tree down. She has breast cancer which we found out about in mid-November. It’s been a steep learning curve for us all, and a huge flash of an effort at keeping up with the new experiences. I could write more on the subject of cancer but will do another post later. I’ve been reading voraciously on the subject. Augmenting information already known, and learning new.
Tomorrow afternoon I drive to West Glacier to check-in for the first session of the 3-level Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training course. The first two week-long sessions are being held at Glacier Guides Montana Raft Company Lodge which will be empty except for our small group. This is something I’ve been contemplating doing for some time.
At the end of January my partner and I are taking a cruise from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida around the Caribbean and back. I’ve never been on a cruise so it’ll be all new. I was asked to do a Kirtan on the ship – but traveling with a harmonium is not the easiest thing. We’ll see…
And we are hoping to get our new house built – and get married.
I think that’s enough!
What do I hope for in this new year?
At the very top of the list is that PJ come through her cancer ordeal healthier and stronger in body, mind, and spirit.
As for me – I’m looking forward to more love, more light, more happiness – enjoying and appreciating every stitch of the process.
And all the best to all of you too!
